About Us
Our Purpose
This non-profit organization is formed for charitable purposes within the meaning of a 501(c)3 that helps support and benefit the community of Seville in Volusia County. This organization shall perform the following charitable functions in support of the stated purpose.
- To help our youth by providing a meeting place for Seville’s Boy Scout, Cub Scout and Girl Scout Units. All Scout units will be exempt from paying any fees or charges.
- To provide a meeting place to other charitable organizations that the Executive Board approves of, that meet the stated charitable purposes of the Seville Village Improvement Association.
- To sponsor charitable community events that will help improve the community of Seville and its citizens.
- To provide charitable help for any citizens of Seville who are in need of emergency assistance, the method and manner to be set by the Executive Board.
- To provide and support charitable activities for the purpose of preserving the history and historic sites in the community of Seville.
- Other activities that help further the stated charitable purposes and are within the meaning of a 501(c)(3), that have the approval and support of the Executive Board and the general membership.
